In collaboration with BLKTEC, FARA introduces the new R8 Integrated Barstem. Made out of carbon fiber, the product is aerodynamically shaped, yet stiff and lightweight at the same time. Just as all previous Integrated Barstem products from our range, R8 is backwards compatible with our whole range of accessories and current frameset models, utilizing Token A-Box integration standard with Speed addict headset spacers.

Recommended add-ons for existing Fara bicycle owners: If you currently already own of the following bicycles equipped with:

- F/All-Road (2021-), F/Gravel (2022-) equipped with semi integrated cockpit with cables visible underneath the stem - we recommend purchasing Token S-Box > A-Box (F/Gravel 2022-, F/All-Road 2021-)

- F/Road (2022-) equipped with semi integrated cockpit with cables visible underneath the stem - we recommend purchasing Headset conversion kit - Token S-Box > A-Box (F/Road 2022-)

- existing owners of F/All-Road (2021-), F/Road (2022-), F/Gravel (2022-) equipped Fara Integrated Barstem (Mk.1, Mk.2) do not need any additional add-on product to assemble FARAxBLKTEC R8 Intetgrated Barstem on their bicycle and can continue using their existing Token A-Box headset

Compatible with all bikes with 28.6mm 1-1/8´ steerer tube
Even though our cockpit is designed to integrate with Token Cable Box system, you can use it on any bike that has the same 28.6mm 1-1/8´ steerer tube. If your bike does not have this integrated headset system, the cables can be routed underneath the handlebars, or through the handlebars and stem before they enter the frame through the head tube.

Integrated computer mount
You can mount any standard two-bolt computer mount with the FARAxBLKTEC R8 Intetgrated Barstem.

Customizable functionality
R8 Integrated barstem includes Di2 junction box for backwards compatibility with 11s Shimano Di2 groupsets as well openings for remote satellite sprint/climb buttons for 12s Shimano Di2 groupsets (*not included) - SW-RS801
Installation of hydraulic hoses or Di2 electronic cables on integrated cockpits can be daunting proposition, so R8 Integrated Barstem features a very clever cover on the underside to allow mechanics to route the cables with ease.
